Yesterday, I was in Dream Park to share the Egyptians orphans their celebration of their day. This was the first Friday of April. It was a nice time actually. Before I went there I used to be against the whole idea. However, after I went there and saw the orphans i changed my mind. On my way to Dream Park, I asked my self how I could recognize the orphans as it was a big festival and of course many children, icluding those who are not orphans, would be there to have fun, spend nice time and may be share their orphan peers their joy. However, it touched me that I could see orphans identifying themselves; they appeared very humble and I could see sadness and weakness in their eyes. So, I was very interested to take photos with them. Anyways, I'd like to say that there few practices that I didn't like about this day: First, the young people who volunteered to supervise the groups of orphans and take care of their needs; I mean those young people who would distribute the meals and candies to the orphans, I noticed that these young people would treat the children in a very bad way. They may have shouted to them and gave them hard time. These young people were of course boys and girls. The thing is these young people are not, unfortunately, worthy of doing such a job. Why? They are supposed to be models to the orphans because they were supervising them. However, you could see boys smoking and girls dressed in improper way. Even in many places you may find some groups entertain DJ songs for children. So, what I want to say is: it's a good idea to share the orphans their life for one day and try to draw a smile on their lips, yet we need to support this idea with directive and ispiring planning; plans that direct orphans to the real value of this life and inspire them with great visions for the future.
